Where Darwinism Breaks Down - with Stephen Meyer
In this video, I interview Stephen Meyer about evolution, intelligent design, Darwinianism, the advent of the biological information age, and how it changed the debate about the origins of life. We discuss the questions of what life and mind are, and how pattern and mind are part of and participate in creation.

"For nearly a century it has been claimed that mutations are the engine that drives evolution, bringing new traits and information to the genome.
And yet, the more we have learned about mutations, the more they have been shown for what they really are: A destructive force, rather than a creative one—responsible for hundreds of thousands of different diseases in humans alone!
Even when mutations produce 'beneficial' changes (for example, bacteria developing resistance to antibiotics), a closer examination nevertheless reveals that mutations have broken something existing, rather than creating something new.
Mutations aren't the engine of evolution. They are its end.
Join plant biologist Dr Don Batten for a revealing exploration of the true power of mutations."

Despite championing the scientific method, Prof Richard Dawkins' most popular and famous book "The Selfish Gene" (which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026) may actually have slowed down and taken biology backwards - including inhibiting the search for cancer cures. That's according to his doctoral examiner and physiologist Dr Denis Noble, and co-founder of the "Cancer and Evolution" research group Perry Marshall. Has Dawkins' neo-Darwinian "gene-centric" interpretation of evolution been holding back scientific progress and medical advancements? What happens if we allow for a purposive dimension to biological organisms?

Vrhunsko predavanje:  :n1:
Dr. James Tour interviews Rob Stadler about his book The Scientific Approach to Evolution, challenging mainstream evolutionary claims by emphasizing the importance of high-confidence scientific evidence. They explore genetic regulation, origin of life, and whether the available data truly supports a tree of life or a more complex "forest" of life structure.

Nije mi jasno kako možeš biti biolog i atheist ali ok..

Professor of Biology Denis Noble, best known for creating the first mathematical model of a beating cardiac cell, proposes a profound shift in how we understand life. In this conversation with Hans Busstra, he challenges the long-standing central dogma of Neo-Darwinism: the notion of one-way causation from DNA to cell to organism, with genes positioned as the ultimate governors of biology. Instead, Noble proposes a theory of 'biological relativity': no single level—genes, cells, organs, or the whole organism—has privileged causal authority. Causation flows both upward and downward.

Physiological states influence cellular processes, which in turn can reshape the genome. Agency is distributed across levels of biological organisation, and the genome is not a dictatorial blueprint but an interactive participant. Far from rejecting Darwin, Noble sees this as returning to Darwin's own intuition that evolution requires mechanisms far richer than blind chance. Understanding those mechanisms, he argues, is the next Einsteinian step in biology.

Zanimljivo je vidjeti biologe kad su zbunjeni, biti ateist biolog je ja bi dodao tvrdoglavo dogmaticno..  ali drugi razlog je zašto sam ovaj video tu stavio..
